For the 2011 Esquire Ultimate Bachelor Pad I was once again asked to bring an interactive installation to life in Esquire's new Brooklyn penthouse location. Inspired by the magnificent clocktower location, we decided to base our project on a 5th digital clock that would grant guests stunning views of not only Brooklyn, but anywhere in the world.
We designed and created a 7ft clock on the 3rd floor the apartment and paired it with a 15 foot social media dashboard. The two components were linked via social media. And you could suggest a destination for the the 5th Clock display by tweeting at its Twitter account. The clock would respond and in turn the social media dashboard would adapt to show relevant social information based on the clock's current location.
